“ This was our second time here for breakfast. I think we liked it even more this time around. The menu is much more than the hot dogs. They had appetizer specials. I had the delicious brunch burger cooked perfectly although it didn't come with any side. We also had a full breakfast meal at the table and the potatoes were some of the best I've ever had. Took rice pudding to go it's delicious. Homemade and fresh everything. The best part of the experience was the very friendly customer service. They were so nice and welcoming from the servers to the cook and owner. Gonna make a regular breakfast spot. ”
“ Met up with two buddies at G&A today for lunch. Since it was hot outside, diners chose to enjoy their fare indoors. And the house was full! Maria was our server: very kind, professional and efficient. And a good sales rep for the house as well. I tried something different today: the Ravenator- two burgers with cheese, bacon, onions, mushrooms and julienne onion rings with a "special sauce." I also ordered a side of G&A's classic fries and gravy. My friends had between them an order of Coney burgers with a side of fries and gravy, a Greek salad (with gyro meat) and a side of fries... We enjoyed our food and our chit chat until the party broke up as guests arrived and there was no room at the inn. Common courtesy is a must in this situation. This visit was much better than the last by a long shot. I'm thinking of turning a friend on to G&A very soon; which means I'll be back. ”

This is a family restaurant and the staff and owners are incredibly friendly and make sure you feel welcome. The food is homemade and delicious. I had the Highlandtowner with French toast, and let me tell you...that French toast was divine. Do yourself a favor and come here!! ”
“ This is a quaint neighborhood diner. My wife and I stopped for breakfast while passing through the area. I had scrapple and eggs, she had the Highlandtowner. Everything was delicious. Local owner operator has ties to our Perry Hall neighborhood. Service was very friendly and attentive. Humble and comfortable are words to describe G&A. Give it a try... ”
“ Well known restaurant that used to be in the city. It was also on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. The food was absolutely delicious and highly affordable. I got one pulled pork sandwich that so sooo good and affordable that I bought another one lol. The crabcake was by far one of the best that I have had. It's a perfect spot for quick bite. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast. The restaurant is family owned so definitely come out and support them! ”
